June is here and attention now turns to one of the main fixtures in our race calender, the Ranelagh 10K on Sunday 21 June. Whether you’re racing, supporting or volunteering, we’d love to see the club out in force….

After the excitement of April, you might have hoped May would offer a chance to pause and maybe even put your feet up. Not a chance. It’s shaping up to be one of the busiest and most exciting months in our club calendar. And right at the heart of it all is our Ranelagh Half Marathon on Sunday 10 May…

April is flying by and London marathon fever is in full swing! The best of luck to everyone on the start line, whether you’re flying the flag for Ranelagh or running for your own reason. And well done to everyone who finished at Paris, Manchester, Boston and other races….

April is here - and it’s a busy one. First up is the Baker Cup Handicap on 18 April, free for all members but please sign up by 15 April. Meanwhile, the Surrey Road League continues; including our own races - the Ranelagh Half and Ranelagh 10K - coming up fast. Followed by the Sunset Sprint 3k not long after.

Over the next few months, we host our three biggest events — the Ranelagh Half (10 May), Ranelagh 10K (21 June) and the brand new Sunset Sprint 3K (3 July) — and we need your help to make them happen.

March may bring the first hints of spring but clearly there’s no easing gently into it — the calendar is absolutely stacked and the racing momentum across our club is high! The call out for our mob builds to a crescendo with two away fixtures in rapid succession — SLH on 7 March, followed by the final showdown against Orion on 14 March…

We made it through January! Having said that, despite February being a shorter month, there’s no sign of a slow-down — especially on the racing front. It’s been a brilliant XC season for our women, who finished 7th in the Surrey League….

Wow, what a month it’s been. Barely 3 weeks into 2026, and there’s been a TON of racing already. Our club has had a sterling start to the new year, with outstanding performances recently at the 3rd match of Surrey League...

The all-knowing Google tells us that we’ve been celebrating the new year for at least 4,000 years. Hangovers aside, that’s plenty of time to invent some creative traditions: parades, fireworks….

From everyone at Comms HQ, we’re sending our warmest festive wishes as we take a short seasonal pause and tuck into a mince pie (or three). We’ll be back in touch in the new year with details of what’s coming up, including…

A season for kindness & connection… As we head into December, let’s continue looking out for one another, staying safe on our runs and finding the right balance between training hard and the necessary rest and recovery…

The next stop… the MOB! All hands on deck for our first mob match of the season as we host Thames Hare & Hounds in Richmond Park on 22 November. The current tally is 23 Ranelagh wins to 26 Thames, and we’re well placed to close the gap…

Cross-country is now in full swing! Our next Surrey League fixture is on Saturday, 15 November — Women at Beckenham and Men at Oxted…
