Surrey League Special

Howdy Ranelights.

One club, two teams & a season to look forward to

The 2026/2027 Surrey League season kicks off on 10 October at Wimbledon Common, where our women’s and men’s teams will both be competing in Division 1.

After a season of progress and promotion, this special edition of the Ranelagh Notices celebrates their achievements and invites you to be part of the season ahead.

Whether you’re a cross-country regular, returning after a break or thinking about giving it your first go, we’d love you to join us. If you’re curious but unsure, have a chat with Women’s Captain Aoife or Men’s Captain Jonny.

There’s something special about pulling on the club vest, finding familiar faces at the start, hearing your name called out on the course and cheering your teammates home. Those moments make Surrey League about much more than where you finish, and you don’t need to be one of our fastest runners to enjoy being part of the team.

And if racing isn’t for you this time, come along to support. A familiar voice can make a surprising difference on that final hill.

There’s still time to get involved, so read on for details, including how to sign up through MyRanelagh.

Let’s start the season with plenty of blue and amber!

Once you’re there, take a moment to explore. More than 130 members, aged 14 to 79, have already joined MyRanelagh and the feedback has been really positive.

Your club, all in one place.

Developed by a fellow Ranelagh member who understands our club, MyRanelagh gives you a place to build your own Ranelagh year. The aim is to give you one place to see what’s coming up and who’s joining in, look back at your events and performances, and work towards training, racing and volunteering milestones.

You can also explore more than a century of club history, discover our trophies and past winners, and celebrate what fellow members are achieving.

Future club fixtures will also be on MyRanelagh, making it easier to find your next event and get involved. So even if Surrey League isn’t for you, there’s plenty to enjoy and more to come.

It’s all included in your club membership. And because it’s a web app, you simply open it in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. There’s nothing to download from an app store.

Add a profile photo, have a look around and make yourself at home. It’s your club, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Come & Cheer the team

You don’t have to be racing to be part of the day.

Come along to cheer on our women’s and men’s teams, catch up with friends and get to know a few more clubmates. A familiar voice on the course means so much, and we’d love to have more of us there to cheer everyone home.
