Coad Cup Handicap
The Coad Cup was donated to our club in 1947 by W H Coad, who had won it outright in a 5 miles club steeplechase in 1882. He expressed a desire for the race to be held during the summer….
John Barnard (1950 - 2025)
John, who has died at the age of 74, was one of Ranelagh’s top runners during the 1980s. His distinctive 6’4” frame, long stride and size 12 shoes made him a very visible presence at races.
