London Marathon 2027: Volunteer with Ranelagh!

Info
Written By Ranelagh Coordinator

Fancy joining our Ranelagh volunteer team for the 2027 TCS London Marathon?

For the first time, the Marathon will take place over two days, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April. We’re looking for members who might be able to help on either or both days.

Support our runners, share the atmosphere with clubmates and help make this special weekend happen. Everyone who volunteers will also be entered into a ballot for a 2028 London Marathon place.

Together as a club

The organisers will try to keep us together, perhaps at a water station or in a similar course role. It’s a lovely opportunity to spend a day with fellow Ranelagh members, cheer on our runners and give the club a visible presence at this special event.

We need at least 10 volunteers, with roles and shifts confirmed in December. All are welcome, but you must be aged 18 or over.

What’s Included?

  • Entry into an individual ballot for a 2028 London Marathon place.

  • A free volunteer T-shirt and jacket.

  • A meal bag and certificate of recognition.

  • Free return transport if we have 15 or more volunteers.

There’s no general volunteer recruitment, so joining a participating group like ours is the way to get involved.

Interested? Let us know by Sunday 1 November

Please complete our Google Form @ https://forms.gle/oZEJvuX55YcYQrXFA telling us which day or days you could help.

You’re just letting us know you’re interested for now, with no firm commitment needed. We must submit our numbers by 5 November, so please respond soon. Roles and shifts will be confirmed in December.
