CIO Update: FAQs
Becoming a CIO: Important information for members
Our new dedicated webpage about Ranelagh’s proposed transition to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is now live @ www.ranelagh-harriers.co.uk/becoming-a-cio
Thank you to everyone who has asked questions, shared feedback and contributed to the discussion so far. The page has taken a little time to bring together because we wanted the information to be as clear, factual and accurate as possible.
It explains why the change is being proposed, what it would mean for Ranelagh and the benefits and considerations involved. It also includes:
updated FAQs shaped by members’ questions;
a timeline for the proposed process;
a comparison of our current structure and a CIO;
links to the draft constitution, mapping document and proposed resolutions; and
a form for submitting any further questions.
We encourage all members to read the information ahead of the Zoom Q&A on Monday 3 August at 7pm and the Special General Meeting on Tuesday 1 September at 7pm.
We want everyone to feel informed, able to ask questions and confident in having their say as the discussion continues.
If you have any questions or would like to reach out to the Executive Committee, please email coordinator@ranelagh-harriers.co.uk >
