Every Second Counts
Whether you're chasing a PB, racing your friends or running just for the joy of it, there's something for everyone.
The Sunset Sprint is also part of the Surrey Road League, with eligible runners' times from all waves combined for individual and team standings.
Whatever your goal, every second counts!
Prizes & Awards
Prizes are awarded to each wave winner, as well as the top three Open and Women's finishers across all waves.
Age-category prizes are awarded to the first finisher in each category: 35–44, 45–54, 55–64, 65–74 and 75+.
Runners qualifying for both podium and age-category awards receive the higher-value prize, with the other passing to the next eligible finisher.
YOUR RACE. YOUR PACE.
Whether you're taking on your first 3k, chasing a PB or testing yourself against some seriously fast runners, there's a place for you on the start line.
When you enter, simply tell us your estimated 5k time and we'll place you in a wave of up to 50 runners of similar ability. The waves get progressively faster as the evening unfolds, building towards the Women's and Men's Elite races at sunset.
Whatever your pace, you're part of the excitement.
There's nothing quite like the excitement of a fast, closely matched 3k.
Whether you're chasing a PB or running for fun, enjoy the thrill of racing alongside others.
Once you've crossed the line, catch your breath, grab a drink & food, and join the crowds along the finish straight.
Every wave brings fresh racing and more reasons to cheer.

Combining hard trail and tarmac with gentle turns and no technical sections, the course is made for exciting racing, with plenty of support from the sidelines and a spectacular 400-metre finishing straight.
Short, sharp and full of energy. Three kilometres that will fly by.
-
Every race is fully chip timed, with results recorded across all waves.

-
Water will be available for all runners at the finish.
The course has kilometre markers and friendly marshals at every turn to help keep you on track.
