Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities πŸ’™πŸ’›

Howdy Ranelights..

The success of any running event, big or small, relies on the support of countless volunteers. We’ve all benefitted from the time & commitment of others, why not take this opportunity to pay it forward?

So in & amongst all your running, training, racing and consumption of cake, we wanted to ask you to pause – just for a sec – to consider whether you could give a teeny, weeny bit back to our fab running community by volunteering for one, or more of these upcoming events.

In the majority of cases, no prior experience is required; all that is needed is your commitment and time. It’s really rewarding, plus you get to meet other people, learn new skills and be part of a great event.

So please get in touch if you can help out. If you have any questions, please email

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Sunday 17 March @ Kingston Breakfest Run
πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Saturday or Sunday 30 & 31 March @ Kew The Run

Our friends at Run-Fest are looking for volunteers to marshal at both these events, at a variety of locations to suit everyone.

They’ve have been wonderfully supportive of us; generously donating goody bag items for last year’s Ranelagh Half and 10k, with plans to be as generous again this year. So please consider giving up a bit of time to help them out; their events usually see many of our members running so you can also double up on your cheerleading duties!

As a show of their appreciation, Run-Fest are offering a free race entry to a future event if you can volunteer now. It’s a great chance to give back, while getting something in return, so head over to to sign up now!

Please email or if you can help out. Free tea & cake for all volunteers πŸ₯³

πŸ’™ Sunday 12 May @ Ranelagh Harriers Half Marathon
πŸ’› Sunday 23 June @ Ranelagh Harriers 10k

Preparations are ramping up for our two biggest road events; and it simply wouldn’t happen without your help & support. For both, we need as many volunteers as possible for a variety of marshalling & start/finish duties from 8am onwards.

If you can help out, please save the date(s) for now, we will be in touch very soon with more details on how to register to volunteer.
