Event Details

The second race in Ranelagh Harrier’s Race Director Andy Bickerstaff’s very popular Wednesday evening summer trail series, this year’s marking the 9th edition.

The first 2 races are 5 miles each long and the 3rd about 8 miles, featuring running routes through scenic and sometimes challenging parts of Wimbledon Common. The start is at the iconic windmill and the event offers a mixture of adventure, fun and challenge all set on a traffic free route within the lovely Wimbledon Common. Large free car park at the start.

Each finisher receives a mug, chocolate bar and fruit. There are series and individual medals/prizes and team prizes (you must wear a club vest). All entrants must be 16 or over.

  • First race is on Wednesday 10th May
  • Second race is on Wednesday 7st June
  • Third race is on Wednesday 5th July

About The Course

The first race of the series is 5 miles long, and follows an interesting and challenging course. Features include tackling the Rifle Butts, running alongside Beverly Brook, and climbing the energy sapping ‘Toast Rack’. The run is designed so that it will be much tougher than your average 5K but at the same time accessible to runners of all standards.
