The Surrey XC League is one of the major features in the club season and a key part of Ranelagh history. The league features four races, traditionally held in October, November, January and February. The league is split into several divisions with four different clubs in that division each hosting a fixture for the relevant year.  In recent years the men have struggled to maintain their place in Division 1 but in 2019/2020 they dominated Division 2, winning by over 300 points to come straight back up. James Riley was the second best V40.

Junior races (U13, U15 and U17) are held alongside the senior fixtures at the same venue (over shorter distances).

The races also form part of the club’s Winter XC Series.
