Race Times:

Men Divisions 3/4 – 12.00pm

Men Division 2 –1.00pm

Women Division 2 –2.00pm

All races are 8km.  The course will be in the southern half of the park behind Merton Register Office.

It comprises one 2km lap followed by two 3km laps. It travels through open parkland which is undulating and can be heavy in places at this time of the year. Cross country spikes or off- road shoes are recommended.

Getting there – The venue is Morden Park SM4 5HE

Do not go to Morden Hall Park, which is a different venue 2 miles away.

Morden Park is about 1 mile south of Morden town centre next to the A24.

By car – Access is from the A24, London Road, just north of Merton College. Follow the signs to Morden Leisure Centre. Use the large car park on the right after the leisure centre. There is a small charge for parking before 13.00 hrs on Saturdays after which it is free.

By Public Transport – Morden Park is a short walk from Morden Tube station – the end of the Northern Line.Bus 93 from Putney to North Cheam stops by the park on the A24 and other bus routes border the park.

Thameslink trains stop at Morden South very close to the park.

Changing/toiletsThere are no changing facilities or public toilets within the park. We will hire Portaloos.

Numbers/Declaration sheets – All declarations are to be made online at Athletes must wear the bib number allocated to them at the start of the season. Team managers please ensure that your club page on the Surrey League website is maintained and show the correct number for every athlete.

Results scheduleAs usual we will compile provisional results after the race and post them on the Surrey League website on Saturday evening. These will be provisional and may be subject to change subject to comments and corrections from TMs.If you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
