Ranelagh Harriers 10k: 6 weeks to go!

Howdy Ranelights,

Just a gentle reminder that if you haven’t signed up for the Ranelagh Harriers 10k on Sunday 25 June @ 9am, there’s still time to do so. But with only 6 weeks left to go, don’t delay – it’s only £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for non-affiliated.

We’re also very excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with our Men’s Captain, James Riley to offer a free six-week training plan. So if you haven’t entered yet, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. And if you have, then his training plan will help you make the most of the next six weeks.

We also have a special offer for all entrants from Park Brewery, a Kingston based brewery supporting our event. They’re offering a whopping 15% discount across their range of cans: with 7 flavours to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice. All you need to do is sign up to their mailing list to receive a unique code (please don’t share this). Kindly note that this only applies for first orders, with a minimum of £20 spend & you must be 18 years & over.

A reminder that our race sponsor, RunAlive Podcast has a new episode out this week. Join hosts Ed Perry and Gary Armstrong as they take a look into particular moments of guests lives, to provide learning and insight into the stories and habits of the individual, with running being a thread that holds it all together. This week’s episode features none other than our men’s captain James Riley; talking about what it’s taken to leave his former career behind, to pursue his passion for coaching and running.

And lastly, if you’re not able to run, we could really do with your help volunteering on the day. The success of our event relies crucially on your support for a variety of marshalling & course duties from 8am onwards. No experience necessary, just your time and commitment. It’s really rewarding, plus you get to meet other people, learn new skills and be part of a great event. So please get in touch if you can help out – whatever time you can give will be immensely helpful.
